Welcome to your comprehensive guide to building and managing your virtual properties. This outlines everything you need to know about placing parcels, obtaining and using blueprints, and constructing various types of buildingsâfrom cozy homes and tree houses to beach houses and more. Whether youâre a seasoned builder or just starting out, this guide will walk you through the step-by-step process of parcel placement, blueprint attachment, and the intricacies of the building process, including additions, demolition, repair, and even protection services.
Parcels:
Can be placed in any area except tiles occupied by an Adventurer base, Tribal Village, or Governor building (max. 150 parcels per area).
Players must purchase Free Land rights to place parcels and build using blueprints.
Blueprints are attached to a character via the main menu (as a âmaskâ), and each character may have only one blueprint per type.
Acquisition:
Once purchased, blueprints are automatically added to your account and can be attached to your character.
Usage & Limitations:
Removing a blueprint from your character renders the associated building unusable.
Buildings created from blueprints can be destroyed.
Accessing Blueprints:
Press TAB and select the Blueprints tab.
Placing a Parcel:
Click the Place Parcel button.
When the designated area is green, click the left mouse button (LMB) to confirm.
If the area is red, an error has occurred; read the notification and choose another spot.
Placing the Main Building:
Click Select Main Building and use the mouse to position the building.
Use the middle mouse scroll to adjust rotation.
Confirm placement with LMB when the building outline is green (note: it cannot be placed on foliage, characters, buildings, etc.âonly on the landscape).
Building Process:
Press E to add items to the building (ensure you have the necessary tools, e.g., a hammer).
Press F to advance to the next building phase.
Specific phases can be demolished using the Demolish button, and all phases can be viewed in the blueprints window.
The process is complete when an HP bar appears.
You can demolish the finished building (dropping a resource box) or remove the parcel area.
All Houses:
Must be placed on the landscape (not on foliage, characters, or other buildings).
Includes a bed for the character.
Beach House:
The parcel must be placed 20%-40% in water (only on oceans or large rivers).
The building can extend approximately 50% into the water and can serve as a dock.
Tree House:
Must be built on a tree (allowed trees include Araucaria, Pine, Hero, Eucalyptus, Coconut, and Antiaris).
Features a ladder (activated by pressing E); the supporting tree cannot be removed before the building.
Common House:
The parcel must be more than 100 meters away from rivers and oceans and can only be placed on the landscape.
Overview:
Additions can be built after the main building is complete and are available in the blueprints window.
They can only be placed on the landscape or, in some cases, on a wooden platform.
Additional Structures:
Storage: For storing items.
Stable: For housing animals (upgradeable for more slots).
Dog House: For housing a dog.
Demolition:
Additions can be demolished (dropping a resource box) and will be destroyed if the main building is demolished.
Useful Information
All placeable items are visible on the map to the owner.
Both finished and unfinished buildings can be destroyed by tribals or adventurers.
You will receive an in-game notification and an email if your building is attacked.
Some Governors (work in progress) offer protection services by sending guards to defend buildings and eliminate attackers.
Damaged buildings can be repaired by the owner if they have a hammer and resources. The more damaged it is, the more resources(nails, wood etc.) will be required.
Obtain blueprints from the Special Tab in the gameâs menu by burning $NGL tokens (check the specific amounts required).
